Mukhya Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna – (MMGSY OLD)

MMGSY has been originated in order to provide road connectivity to maximum/each village within the range of population between 500 and 999 (Based on the population, as recorded in the Census 2001) which are not covered under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) . It will take very long time to provide connectivity All-weather road to Habitations with a population of 500 persons and above under PMGSY or Bharat Nirman Yojna.It is very difficult to development of village without rural road connectivity that’s why State government started another scheme called MMGSY (OLD).This scheme help to connect the rural areas to All-weather roads.
